Jaguar Land Rover has begun a phased restart of its UK factories after a major cyber-attack halted operations for over a month.
The company said production would resume at key sites in Wolverhampton, Solihull, Halewood, and Hams Hall this week.
CEO Adrian Mardell called it “an important moment,” saying JLR’s recovery is now “firmly under way.”
Sales fell 17% last quarter to 85,495 vehicles as shutdowns and tariffs hit deliveries worldwide.
To ease supplier strain, JLR launched a new financing scheme offering faster upfront payments to smaller partners.
“Our suppliers are central to our success,” said Mardell. “This plan supports their cashflow during recovery.”
Business Secretary Peter Kyle welcomed the restart, calling it “very good news for workers and suppliers.”
JLR employs 34,000 people in the UK and supports more than 120,000 across its vast supply chain.
